Gone South for Conference and Easter

This week we have been (and still are) in Spanish Fork visiting my parents. Dave's family had spring break this week and they decided to go to New York to visit Dave's grandparents. We decided that Jed wouldn't stand the trip very well, and we might actually never make it to New York, since we'd have to stop to nurse every 4 hours! So here we are in the warmth of Utah.

Here's Jed in Big Piney getting excited to leave.

We've been having a great time. Except for this morning, we've had gorgeous weather. We bought Jed a jogging stroller and we've been going on walks along the trail in back of my parents' house every day.

Dave and Jed the day before we bought the stroller, getting ready for a walk.

Dave and I went to the temple yesterday--a much-needed visit! We've been doing a lot of shopping and have found some amazing bargains! Last night we went to see one of my best friends, Tara (who was also my roommate at BYU-I) and her husband Dustin, her mom and their sweet new baby girl Lydia. She's such a cutie!

I think my parents are glad to see us, but they're thrilled to see Jed. My dad loves to come home from track practice (groan) and hang out with him at night. It is so fun to watch them play!

Jed currently chews on anyone's finger who gets close enough. Here he is taking a nibble on Grandpa Monte's fingers!

Loving the LoveSac because he can see us while we eat...but I think it makes him jealous!

Trying to figure out what the remote is all about. My mom gave it to him and told him it was never to late to learn to be a real man! Silly Nona!
We're having such a great time here! I love that it's only 4 hours away and that we can come down to see the fam every once in a while. It would be perfect if Hanna where here...but today is her last day of class for this semester at BYU-I. All her finals are done and she'll be home tomorrow. Yay Hanna! We love you and can't wait to see you!

If you have a sec, you should stop by and visit on your way back to Wyoming! :) You're always welcome at my house or my classroom!
