fall foliage

For the past 3 weeks or so, on our morning walks, this is what Jed and I have gotten to see:

It's so beautiful! I point it out to Jed every day and we watch the colors subtly change from day to day.



I really wish that it hadn't been overcast when we went to take these pictures. The gray skies just don't do the colors justice.

There are many things that I dislike about living in Texas, but the beautiful trees in the fall are definitely not on that list. I'm happy to be bringing you a bit of fall color when most of you are looking at bare trees.
