the OK corral?

The other night, Dave rushed out the back door with the big airsoft gun to shoot at a dog or a squirrel or something. Jed was right behind him with the airsoft pistol. After the prey ran away, the turned the guns on each other and had a wild shoot-out.

Dave dies spectacularly. After every shot, Jed had to run over to tell me gleefully that he "shot Daddy!"

I know it's not the greatest thing, to let Jed pretend to shoot people. I'm not sure how we're going to work this one out, because it is a fun game that Jed and Dave play together, and it's not like the guns would hurt anyone, even if they were loaded. I'm sure Annie Oakley never had issues like this.
