a cute smiler

I have made an important discovery about Hank. He likes to be diaper-less. As soon as his diaper is off, he smiles and coos and grins like you wouldn't believe. Once his diaper has to go back on he usually gives a few indignant squawks and grunts and worms his bum around to get comfortable again. I guess I could be one of those diaper-free parents but I am not ready for my life to be that crazy.

 

Here is Hank on Thursday night, enjoying his diaper-free time and smiling away at Dave:

 After we put his diaper back on, he had to do some tummy time. He does pretty well as long as he has the boppy to help him out. Otherwise he grinds his nose into the blanket and cries through it. However, his neck is getting so strong and he's even done a few very short sessions in his Bumbo chair.

I love this dear boy and his sweet facial expressions!
