playtime at our house

It was a little chilly this morning so Jed and I spent it inside. He was being such a little charmer that I decided we needed to take some pictures.

Jed is seriously in love with his ducky. The beak is such a good size to fit in his mouth and often I find it completely soggy.

Since Jed has become a much more reliable sitter, I thought I would take some more pictures. And look what I was rewarded with:

Oh, such a sweetie!

This afternoon it got hot in a hurry. Normally I'm not one for sleeveless clothes, but Jed is breaking in a new set of diapers that aren't terribly absorbent yet, and we usually change clothes after every nap, despite my best efforts. Since I'm a tad lazy, one layer is infinitely easier to change than multiple. Hence the risque outfit. I had to snap this picture because we had been exploring outside (eating leaves--Jed, not me--feeling tree bark and holding flowers) and when I put a little flower over his ear, he loved it. He kept reaching up to feel it but not trying to take it off. It was so cute! I'm sure Dave would have been thrilled had he seen. :)
