Jed has started to say a few words. He says "byebye," usually long after the person he's saying goodbye to has hung up or left. He says "mama" for anything he wants and "nana" for anything he doesn't want to do, presumably because Mama gives him things and Nana saves him from troubles (when she's here). He also says "amen" after prayers. He did great at church yesterday, saying amen after the opening prayer and both sacrament prayers.
Tonight we knelt down for prayers after Jed had eaten, bathed and eaten again. Jed wasn't very happy about having to sit on Dave's lap while he said the prayer and as soon as Dave began, Jed said "amen." Because everyone knows that once "amen" is said, the prayer is over!
Oh, little boy. What have you got in store for us?
