Jed's pony

While we were in Colorado, we stayed with my Grandma's cousins, the Hatch family. They graciously took us into their home, fed us great food, and had lots of fun toys for Jed to play with. His favorite toy wasn't a toy at all, but Karl's footstool.

Every day, Jed would turn it over and mount up

Then he'd ride his "pony" and have such a great time.

To me it looks more like a pack saddle than anything else, and those aren't very comfortable, to say the least. But Jed loved it! I guess next time we take a horse trip, we know where Jed will want to sit!
