The Birds

Monday morning I went outside before our walk and was met with the strangest sight. Thousands of grackles were swarming the field behind our house!



The flock kept moving across the field. I never could figure out what they were eating, but it only took them a few minutes to cover the whole thing, and then they were gone.

It was the strangest thing! I was definitely glad they were heading away from my house instead of toward it.
