Pool Lovin' part II

Remember back in May when Dave and Jed squeezed into the turtle pool together? Because the turtle is a little snug (however much we hate to admit it) and because it's so hot, we decided to get a bigger pool that we can all play in. I know, it's a little juvenile for Dave and I to play in a kiddie pool in our back yard, but when the thermometer is constantly over 95, your brain turns to mush and you lose all power of reasoning.

I love our big pool! It's just the standard Wal-Mart model, but it works great for us. Jed and I hang out in it nearly every day.

The sides are just high enough that it's a multi-step process for Jed to get in and out of the pool.

Friday night, Dave and I were doing some yard work while Jed swam. Dave finally couldn't take it any more and climbed in the pool with Jed.


They had a great time splashing around together. When Jed and I play in the pool together, it's a lot more sedate, because I'm usually trying to keep my hair dry and grass out of my eyes. But with Dave, anything goes!







Eventually, they convinced me to get in the pool too. We splashed and played until it was nearly dark outside. It was so much fun!
