shearing time again

Dave likes to wait as long as possible between haircuts. I do too, since I am the barber. It's not that I mind pulling out the clippers and buzzing away, but I am always worried that I am going to make some horrible mistake and someone will end up with only one ear.

The haircuts were given last Tuesday night. Here's my handsome men before the shearing:

Jed is so shaggy! I love his hair, but I hate being asked how old my little "girl" is, or when we're going to give "her" a sibling. Come on, people! He's wearing a tractor shirt!

a mountain of hair

Jed was surprisingly good once the actual haircut started. He watched Dave get his hair cut, and then we told Jed it was his turn. He only tried to run away once. After I got started, he kept laughing at how it tickled, and it was over pretty quickly.

All cleaned up and ready to go

Such handsome specimens!

And now that they're shorn, I can take a deep breath and put away the clippers for another 8 months. Whew!
