hogs at the lake

Friday afternoon Dave texted me that he was watching some wild hogs root around near the lake. He said they wandered around quite a bit and were pretty fun to watch.

They were just small pigs, less than a year old, but Dave wasn't really sure where the sow was, so he wasn't going to get terribly close.



I love their adorable little swishy tails in this video.

I am not going to lie--sometimes I get a little jealous that Dave gets to see all sorts of fun things at work every day. Then again, so do I--Jed's daily antics are wonderful and fun, and he wiggles his bum just as much as any pig. I am a little peeved, though, that whenever I go out in the woods with Dave and Jed, I never get to see anything like hogs or armadillos. Probably because we make more noise than any bunch of hogs ever would!
