my two sweeties

Now for some pictures of Jed and Hank together.
Here we are enjoying some sun on our porch after picking Jed up from preschool. My rugs are sitting out because I had just swept and mopped before running to the bus and the floors weren't quite dry. The dichotomy of the boys' toys here makes me laugh--Hank has a clothespin and a wooden spoon and Jed has Harold the plastic shark and Percy, one of Thomas the Train's friends. This isn't to say Hank only prefers wooden toys, just that Jed refuses to give Hank any of the "cool" toys until he's thoroughly finished with them. And, to be fair, Harold is all Jed's, since he earned him. Harold was still fairly new here and Jed was more excited about showing off Harold than posing for a picture.
A grin from Jed and now Hank isn't looking!
I LOVE the look on Hank's face here. What an adorable boy! And my sweet Jedder...isn't looking at the camera at all.
Now Hank has a "Morgan" face and Jed isn't looking again. But he sure is proud of Harold!
Here we are getting ready to go to Stake Conference. I love this outfit of Hank's so much--it's so soft and cute. Hank was not that thrilled about sitting on the grass. I believe Jed is acting like he's going to catch the ball...not completely sure.
 Nice faces, guys!
Finally, a winner!
Oh, my funny boys. Hank LOVES to be near Jed, but sometimes Jed is not so sure, especially if Hank is crying--wailing like a banshee, to be more precise--or if Hank is near enough to possibly pull Jed's hair, which is why Jed is so far from Hank in the pictures above. Lately Jed has become a lot more confident around Hank and more willing to help him if he has trouble. He will run for a burp cloth and sort-of dab at the spit up now. Or if Hank starts to cry in the car, Jed will speak kindly to him and offer him toys (that Jed doesn't want to play with). Jed likes to give Hank crackers to eat and he's pretty good about trading toys with him instead of just snatching them away. I love watching my two little sweeties together.
