Oh goodness

We are just plugging along here, trying to stay cheerful and sane. I have been a bit busier lately--I started attending our local Mothers of Preschoolers group and have made several friends with kids the same age as ours (yes, it has taken a while). The boys keep me busy playing, cooking, refereeing, and cleaning up after them. I haven't had a chance to do anything crafty or cook anything new in a while. Dave is also very busy with work and especially his calling.

While the boys try my patience and sanity each day, they also bring us lots of laughs. Dave is always dressing Hank in silly outfits and I'm not sure who loves the silliness more. Here is Hank in a charming get-up:

He was so pleased with himself to be showing some skin!

Yesterday our church was cancelled again due to weather (we didn't really have bad weather, just several people who live a long distance away who don't like to drive in any snow at all. It is quite funny/annoying how wimpy Michiganders are about the weather, considering all the weather they get!) so we kept ourselves busy watching church movies, reading stories, cooking and getting excited to watch the Super Bowl. The elders also came by for a little while because they were so tired of their apartment. Poor guys. Anyway, Jed came downstairs with his funny mask while we were skyping with Auntie Hannah and asked Elder Vogler to put on another mask. Understandably, Elder Vogler refused, but Daddy is always a good sport.
Jed was SO proud of himself and thrilled to be a strong boy! We all had a much-needed laugh.
