a few ways to survive a reluctant spring

Apparently it is springtime in some parts of the country. Not so here in northern Michigan. We are trying desperately to keep ourselves entertained as winter d-r-a-g-s along.

We watch movies and eat popcorn.

We pretend we're not going to climb on tables, when that's exactly what we're going to do.

We fly paper airplanes! (and rearrange our houses)

We eat peanut butter and smear it all over our faces.

A nice day is so momentous that we take a picture of it! Especially if it happens on a Sunday and our family looks especially handsome.

We do "homework" and write all over ourselves and our paper.

Ta-da! We do really well on our handwriting sheets.

We watch movies early in the day if we have no school.

We carry on the tradition of Friday nigh, Pizza night, which is made even more awesome by watching a movie while eating our pizza.

We feed crackers to our dinosaurs.

We love toy zebras and carry them around a lot.

Selfies become absolutely fascinating!

And we talk on the "phone" to our loved ones enjoying warmer weather to live vicariously. Hey, whatever works!
