playtime and sicktime

One of the perks of working for the government is vacation time for pretty much anything. Dave had a break from work from last Friday until yesterday. We spent the bulk of our time playing, working in the yard, going to the fair and relaxing.

Here's Dave and Jed playing. Dave throws Jed (gently--we know some people in our ward who the husband just slings their little girl really high in the air and it's so scary) and Jed giggles like crazy. I tried to get a picture of Jed up in the air but they all turned out blurry. I love how you can see the glee so clearly written on his face.

Jed got a bad fever on Monday afternoon and it continued until early this morning, when the combined effects of tylenol and motrin kicked in. Here he is, complaining about his cool bath (to lower the fever).
